Countries in Europe

                    Italy is in Southern Europe and to the north, Italy borders FranceSwitzerlandAustria, and Slovenia, and to the south, it consists of the Italian Peninsula and the two biggest Mediterranean islands of Sicily and Sardinia.The capital and largest comune of Italy is Rome, it has for centuries been the leading political and religious centre of Western civilisation, serving as the capital of both the Roman Empire and Christianity. Italian culture flourished, especially during the Renaissance, which produced many notable scholars, artists, and polymaths such as Leonardo da VinciGalileoMichelangelo and Machiavelli.


             France is located in western Europe and it is one of only three countries to have both Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines. France is the 42nd largest country in the world, but the largest country in Western Europe and the European Union , and the third-largest in Europe as a whole. With a population approaching 67 million, it is the 20th most populated country in the world and the second-most populated country in the EU.



              Romania is located in southeastern-central Europe, north of the Balkan Peninsula and on the western shore of the Black Sea. Romania borders HungarySerbiaUkraineMoldova, and Bulgaria. It covers 238,391 square kilometers and has a temperate-continental climate. Romania has 20.1 million inhabitants, it is the seventh most populous member of the European Union. The capital of Romania and is also the largest city, Bucharest, is the sixth largest city in the European Union.


             Spain is another country that is located on the Iberian Peninsula in southwestern Europe. The mainland of Spain is bordered to the south and east by the Mediterranean Sea, except for a small land boundary with Gibraltar and to the west and northwest by Portugal and the Atlantic Ocean. Along with France and Morocco, it is one of only three countries to have both Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines.
